Getting ready for Halloween…

Tonight’s moon — this is much like what it will look like come Saturday night.

Sharlyn and Brittany bought and carved 20 pumpkins. These pumpkins will help guide the visitors into the party area and will have glow sticks inside to light them. We found that glow sticks worked very well last year.

Sharlyn, Brittany and Benjamin constructed these 3. Brighton, Bambie and their friend. These will all be part of the gore scene that the 3 are planning on constructing. (Sheesh I never realized my children were so into the scary stuff).

Jamie brought the crosses up from last years graveyard, and they are replaced for this years walk… sorry I cannot give to much away just yet.

More to come…

  1. It sounds like you are going all out for Halloween, my son would to trick or treat at your place, hope you have a great time!

  2. Oh, we will have a perfect Halloween moon this year won’t we!

Sometime I’d love to make it up your way this time of year, I’m anxious for more pictures!

  3. Bernie only since our children have grown have we gone all out for Halloween – When they were younger there just was no time. Because of where we live we get very few people who trick or treat here, so all this effort is for a one night party, that our two younest put on. It is great fun to scare their friends who range in age from 20 upwards.

  4. Heather – hopefully the nighttime pictures will turn out good enough to post this year. Until then, there will only be peeks into what is to come….

  5. I’m not into the spooky-ooky stuff. I’m glad I don’t have to go by there for Halloween!

  6. Corina you can just drop your girls and son off at the gate…. and then stand with Jamie and I to watch all the fun…
